Fun Contact Lens

Actually, I was amazed to find out how cool and fun contact lens can be! The different ideas and concepts that manufacturers come up with are unbelievable. The wackiest contact lens ideas and all the scary contact lens designs that were made mainly for Halloween, could easily be worn in any occasion where looking a " little out of the ordinary " is an advantage!

Dressing up for Halloween can now look really evil by getting some cosmetic help using a very scary contact lens. I've seen some really disgusting gothic contact lens that make the calmest person's heart skip a beat!

Who came up with such an idea? I have no idea! But I know it's a big seller!!

Another field where I've seen fun contact lens is - Sports! Can you believe it??!!

A few weeks ago I went to a football game with my friends. My friends happened to be hard core Giants fans so they come to the games all rigged out with their Giants uniforms and flags and stuff - truthfully - if they hadn't been my friends forever I'd be pretty embarrassed to be seen in public with them!

So me... thinking I'd seen it all - I walk into the stadium and was shocked to see other fans dressed up like my friends but with blue hair and.... NFL contact lens - Giants contact lens! Couldn't believe my eyes ! (or their eyes for that matter).

Speaking about sports....Nike is now making contacts called Nike contact lens that is a sunglasses alternative for athletes and professional players. I've heard they actually make one design for golfing - so I think I'll get my dad a pair, maybe that will somehow improve his game? (Doubt it!!!)

Interesting fact: as we get closer to Halloween there are fewer people searching online for optical correcting contacts and more of them searching for vampire contact lens or contact lens wild or even fun contact lens! To sum it up - today, with modern technology, the ease of manufacturing and using contact lenses, more people are using them for fun rather than medical reasons.
