Contact Lens Discomfort

Contact lens discomfort can be caused by various reasons which I'll try to talk about on this page. I don't mean to scare you! I simply want you to realize that there are some contact lens complications that may occur when you use contacts and tell you how to deal with them.

To tell the truth, I thought that there would be more problems but then I really studied the subject and noticed it's not that bad after all.

What I found out was that almost all eye discomfort that people experience comes from a foreign object that gets into their eye and with contact lens use, this can happen just as easily. Sometimes this discomfort comes from dry eyes and sometimes from a contact lens eye infection or from allergies. All of these problems can easily be dealt with and solved.

In some cases I've come across people who had problems caused by a stuck contact lens and had difficulties taking them out! But that was typical to people who were new to contacts and didn't have the right technique to removing their contacts. Here's a video demonstration that I found that might be able to help you with the right technique.

In general, most cases of contacts discomfort are caused by known factors that can be dealt with and most of the time you don't even have to stop using your contact lens.
